Automobile headlights include high beam and low beam. The functions of high beam and low beam are used to illuminate the road in front of the vehicle. The difference is that one irradiation is near and the other irradiation is far. Under normal circumstances, the irradiation distance of the low beam lamp is about 30-40m and the irradiation range is about 160 °, while the high beam lamp has more concentrated light and large bright spots, which can irradiate to higher and farther places (the irradiation distance varies according to the material of the headlamp).
● how do you think you are driving low beam or high beam?
Maybe many people think it's incredible. They don't know whether to turn on the high beam or not! But the reality is that some car owners do not know that they have turned on the high beam during driving.
In fact, it's easy to see if you turn on the headlights. Although the marks of high beam and low beam are very similar, they are still very different. As shown in the above figure, the icon on the left with a straight line is the sign of the high beam lamp, and the icon on the right with an oblique downward line is the sign of the low beam lamp( The low beam lamp of some models is turned on (there is no instrument indication)
● under what circumstances do you need to switch the low beam?
During driving, if the owner encounters the following situations, he / she shall immediately change the high beam lamp to the low beam lamp:
1、 There is a car coming from the opposite side;
2、 Close to the vehicle in the same direction in front;
3、 When there is enough lighting on the road;
4、 When entering a busy street.
